In 1989 after a long career in the European textile industry, Karsten Pind started Herning Special Vaeveri A/S, or HSV (Herning Specialized Weaving Company). The company started with two employees in rental premises. Today we are a staff of 12 full time employees and we produce approx. 30.000 meters of textile fabric every week. In the beginning HSV mainly produced interior textiles. Shortly thereafter we started specializing in making customised solutions with focus on exclusive products. Today, the weaving mill is producing anything from common textiles to camping rugs, and we have customers all over Europe. Today HSV is a modern weaving mill with the newest machines, which combined with our philosophy, results in the customer being a part of the entire process - from the initial idea to the finished product. This has resulted in a very close cooperation between the company and our many regular customers.
