The Baand was launched in July 2009 only a short time after arriving back home to Copenhagen from a fantastic trip to Lima, Peru. Some good friends of ours had invited us to visit them in Peru in April 2009. The amazing journey ended up being a huge turning point for us in so many ways. We had been working in fashion for a while, but it was not until our trip to Lima that we had ever felt such a fantastic softness and high quality of cotton before. From that moment on we wanted to offer all stylish women a range of what we like to call “fashion basics”.
