Birgitta Sonn – CEO and designer behind the two brands KRUTTER and KNAST by KRUTTER eager to design in the playful universe of kids. KRUTTER – Danish, stylish, colorful, and fun baby and kids clothes. 0-6 years. 2005 KRUTTER was established as a pure retro brand. Inspired from the designers and her brothers own childhood. The universe of the 70′s and 80′s was so playfull that she needed to create fashion from these memories. The name KRUTTER is the nickname of the designer, when she was a kid – in danish it has the “sound/meaning” that she was very playfull and not sitting still during her childhood. Always something new needed to happen and very creative in her way of making up new games. The collections of KRUTTER have a very strong character with its many applications of nature and animals, it’s mixed materials, all over prints and colors. The ideas for the designs can appear from a game, an old memory, an animal park, her own wardrobe during her childhood or just be being in the mode of the 70′s and 80′s. KRUTTER focus on comfortable clothes – the kids needs to be able to fool around and doing all their play while wearing it.
