UNIQSIZE A/S sprang from the Danish clothing company MERRYTIME. For more than 40 years the company created quality clothing for women throughout Europe. In 2010 MERRYTIME was sold, and the owners of MERRYTIME, Thomas & Claus Rusberg, founded UNIQSIZE A/S. Before the foundation of UNIQSIZE, MERRYTIME had a special department for pattern and fit development. The products developed in this department during the years of 1994 to 2009, were partly used in the MERRYTIME collections. However, the customer- and product mix of MERRYTIME was not the optimal channel to market the very ambitious product development from this department. Therefore, Thomas and Claus Rusberg decided to establish a whole new business concept marketing and selling fit knowhow to leading brands and vertical chains.
