It was not exactly written in the stars that Eugen Silfen, who came to Denmark only 18 years old, would build what has become one of Denmark’s international design companies. With a small savings as his only investment capital, he founded ADAX in a basement in Copenhagen. He wanted to make better bags than the ones he saw in the stores. A combination of courage, curiosity and endurance is recurring factors in the success story of the company.
